UNITED STATES - JULY 21: Diana Ross seems ready to take off at her concert in Central Park. Actually, Ross has been flying high in show biz for a long time. Lead singer in The Supremes from 1961-69, Ross went on to a solo career in song and film, earning an Oscar nomination for her role as Billie Holiday in the 1972 movie 'Lady Sings the Blues.'
